All data lives only in this browser tab (localStorage) unless you use Export/Import. Fetching history calls the explorer API's public REST endpoint directly from your browser — that API provider sees the addresses you look up. Flagging an address KYC automatically propagates that taint forward to every address it later sent funds to; you can override any inferred flag by setting an explicit KYC or Non-KYC classification.
